Exclusive SIM- Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
a) The TSPC powered by Cell C SIM is an exclusive customer engagement initiative that offers customers the opportunity to be rewarded for doing more with Cell C.
b) How the TSPC Cell C Rewards SIMworks:
•The higher the number of Cell C quality activations, the greater the rewards.
•Growth in Cell C quality activations earns more spins to win.
c) The initiative is organised by The Starterpack Company (Pty) Limited(Reg. No. 2007/010809/07) ("TSPC"). Participation is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. By taking part, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility
● This exclusive SIM offer is available only to individuals who receive a TSPC powered by Cell C SIM card through the rollout initiative conducted by TSPC.
● This exclusive SIM offer is available to all TSPC customers, including agents and store owners, who are:
-aged 18 years and above
-based in South Africa
-registered customers of TSPC and have been a customer for more than 6 months
3. Activation
● SIM cards must be activated by the assigned sales rep/customer at the point of distribution.
● Should the MSISDN be used as the number of the customer’s account (a phone number change must be done), there will be additional awards.
4. Usage Requirements
● Customers are required to complete a minimum of one recharge and initiate at least one call or data session within the first 30 days of activation.
● SIM cards not used within 60 days may be suspended or recycled.
● If the minimum sales activation criteria is not reached or maintained, the benefit will be lost, but the number will remain active as per Cell C’s usage rules.
5. Usage Rules
● No rewards may be exchanged for cash.
● TSPC reserves the right to substitute, change or exchange any reward with another reward of similar commercial value without notice, at its sole discretion. You will not have a claim against TSPC should this happen.
● TSPC cannot be held responsible for any warranties, guarantees and/or expenses to maintain any rewards outside of the rewards provider’s warranties and/or guarantees.
● The rewards as advertised on any point of sale or electronic marketing communication are merely for illustrative purposes and may differ at the time of the award being granted.
6. Device Compatibility
The SIM card must be used in an approved, RICA-compliant device. Customers are responsible for ensuring compatibility.
7. Network & Coverage
● Network coverage and service availability are subject to infrastructure and location. TSPC makes no guarantee of uninterrupted service.
● Service may be impacted by factors including (but not limited to) terrain, weather, or network upgrades.
8. Loss or Damage
● Customers are responsible for safeguarding the SIM card. Lost or damaged SIMs will be replaced at the discretion of TSPC and may incur a fee.
9. Personal Information
● By activating the SIM, customers consent to the collection and processing of their personal data in accordance with the POPIA Act.
● Information may be used for activation, service delivery, communication, and reporting purposes.
10. Prohibited Use
● The SIM card may not be used for fraudulent activity, illegal services, bulk messaging, reselling, or in devices used for grey routing.
● Any such use may result in immediate deactivation without notice.
11. Changes to Offer
TSPC reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or replace this exclusive offer at its sole discretion without prior notice.
12. Liability
TSPC is not liable for any loss or damage (direct or indirect) resulting from use or misuse of the SIM card, except as required by law.
13. Disputes
Any disputes arising from the use of the SIM or participation in this rollout will be governed by South African law and subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
Cell C Exclusive SIM- Spin and Win Ts&Cs
The Starter Pack Company (“TSPC”) Spin to Win program enables users with active Cell C Exclusive SIMs to earn rewards on qualifying user activity monthly (the “Rewards Program”).
You will need a compatible iOS or Android device to access the Rewards Program on the TSPC App. Download or update to the latest version of the TSPC App.
Qualifying Criteria
In order to qualify for the Rewards Program in a month, a user must have made at least five (5) Cell C quality Activations during the preceding calendar month (“Qualifying User”).
“Activated”, for purposes of the Rewards Program, shall be an Activation with a minimum recharge of R40.
Earning Rewards Points
A Qualifying User will earn a reward spin on the Spin to Win feature on the TSPC App for every five (5) quality activations done more than the average of the last 3 months Cell C activations.
Allocation of Reward Points
Monthly reward points will run a month and a half in arrears. Points earned during a calendar month will be allocated to a Qualifying User’s account between the 14th and 16th day of the second month following the month in which the points were earned.
TSPC reserves the right to reverse any reward points allocated to a Qualifying User’s account in the event that such a Qualifying User is found to be manipulating any activations or otherwise not carrying out any activations in a bona fide and legitimate manner or in accordance with good practice. In such an event, a reversal of points will result in negative points being allocated to the Qualifying User’s account.
Monthly Reward points must be used to play on the TSPC App Gameboard within 30 days from the date on which such reward points were allocated to the Qualifying User’s account. All monthly reward points not used within the aforesaid 30-day period will be forfeited by the Qualifying User.
Pick a Tile on the Gameboard
A Qualifying User will earn a play on the TSPC App gameboard for each reward point allocated to the Qualifying User’s account. When a Qualifying User plays the gameboard, the Qualifying User picks a tile which reveals a hidden prize, which could include, but is not limited to, Cell C bundles, airtime, etc.
Each gameboard is different and prizes won are completely random.
The reward bundles may be sold to a consumer or used by the Qualifying User, but cannot be used towards creating value on a new SIM for activation purposes.
General
Reward points and prizes won cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
TSPC reserves the right to amend the terms of the Rewards Program or cancel the Rewards Program in its entirety on 30 days’ notice to users.
Prizes are subject to change from time to time.
By using the Rewards Program, you agree that TSPC may share your personal information to administer the rewards effectively.
The TSPC Rewards Program is not open to TSPC employees and their family members, as well as any subsidiaries or affiliate companies.
